Maryland High School Volleyball - Friendly over Potomac

September 27, 2023: Fort Washington, MD 20744

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD) and the visiting Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), saw Friendly's volleyball squad beat Potomac by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Friendly upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Lions in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Friday, September 29. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Largo lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD)

The Wolverines now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Oxon Hill for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Friday, September 29. Potomac will play a Clippers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Clippers record now stands at 4-0.
