In their next game, the Panthers face the Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 9 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Alba-Golden will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 65-21 non-league win over S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX).

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX). The Warriors go into the 2A-1 Region III District 9 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Honey Grove toppled Boles (Quinlan, TX), 48-6, in a league challenge.
