Pennsylvania High School Football - Aliquippa triumphant over New Castle

September 27, 2024: Aliquippa, PA 15001

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) and the visiting New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA), witnessed Aliquippa's football squad wallop New Castle by a tally of 62-21.

The Quips (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Indians enter the WPIAL AAAA Parkway contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, West Allegheny crushed Ambridge (Ambridge, PA), 38-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Hurricanes battle the Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway contest, on Friday, October 4. New Castle will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 49-8 league win over Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA).
