In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Amanda Elzy Panthers football squad scored a close 46-44 triumph over the South Delta Bulldogs.
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Edwards (Ruleville, MS). The Tigers come into the 3A Region 3 match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Edwards tipped West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS), 30-10, in a non-league match.
