Wisconsin High School Football - Wilmot edged by Beloit Memorial

The Beloit Memorial Purple Knights got by the visiting Wilmot Panthers football team by a score of 28-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Purple Knights face the Burlington Demons (Burlington, WI) in a Southern Lakes challenge, on Friday, October 4. Beloit Memorial will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Demons go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 54-14 league loss to Badger (Lake Geneva, WI).

The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Grove (Union Grove, WI). The Broncos go into the Southern Lakes challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Union Grove was edged by Westosha Central (Salem, WI), 27-9, in a league challenge.
