Ohio High School Football - Big Walnut smashes Franklin Heights

September 27, 2024: Columbus, OH 43204

The Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) football trounced the host Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH), 45-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. Big Walnut will clash with a Golden Lions squad coming off a 41-21 non-league win over Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH). The Golden Lions record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Franklin Heights drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH) to clash with the Irish in a Ohio Capital - Capital outing on Friday, October 4. The Irish come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Dublin Scioto lost 41-13 in their recent non-league outing against Westland (Galloway, OH)
