Texas High School Football - Honey Grove trounces Boles

In Friday's league match, the host Honey Grove Warriors football squad scored a decisive 48-6 triumph over the Boles Hornets.

The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Como-Pickton (Como, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A-1 Region III District 9 match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Como-Pickton was routed by Alba-Golden (Alba, TX), 35-21, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Hornets meet the Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 9 match, on Friday, October 4. Boles will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 22-0 league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX).
