The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Mustangs enter the 8-Man District 1 (8 Man) contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Newell-Fonda was trounced by St. Mary's (Remsen, IA), 50-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cowboys battle the CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) in a 8-Man District 10 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 4. Sidney will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 32-30 league win over Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA).
