Brackett Tigers (Brackettville, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX), 53-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Brackett advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to La Pryor (La Pryor, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 battle on Friday, October 4. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 3-2. La Pryor won 18-7 in their recent league battle against Center Point (Center Point, TX)

The Cowboys now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host La Pryor for a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 contest on Saturday, October 12.
