In their next game, the Pilots face the Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. River will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 56-0 non-league loss to Barnesville (Barnesville, OH).

The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Beallsville (Beallsville, OH). The Blue Devils go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Beallsville was ripped by Valley (Pine Grove, WV), 47-0, in a non-league challenge.
