In Friday's league match, the visiting McKinley Panthers football squad scored a close 9-6 triumph over the Broadmoor Buccaneers.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Tara (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans come into the 4A District 6 match with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Tara was tipped by Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA), 22-8, in a league bout.
