The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Firestone Falcons (Akron, OH) and the visiting Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH), witnessed Firestone's football squad edge Buchtel by a tally of 31-26.

The Falcons (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Garfield (Akron, OH). The Rams enter the Akron City contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Garfield got by North (Akron, OH), 35-22, in a league contest.
