South Carolina High School Football - Calhoun Academy nudges Orangeburg Prep

September 27, 2024: St. Matthews, SC 29135

In Friday's league match, the host Calhoun Academy Cavaliers football squad scored a close 29-26 victory over the Orangeburg Prep Indians.

The Cavaliers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Faith Christian (Summerville, SC). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Faith Christian was nudged by Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC), 29-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Indians confront the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors (Spartanburg, SC) in a SCISA 2A Region II match, on Friday, October 4. Orangeburg Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 54-19 non-league loss to Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC).
