Pennsylvania High School Football - Hempfield Area sneaks past Canon-McMillan

September 27, 2024: Canonsburg, PA 15317

The Hempfield Area Spartans football squad scored 33 points and limited the host Canon-McMillan Big Macs to 27 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Norwin for a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County test on Friday, October 4. Hempfield Area will meet a Knights squad coming off a 24-7 non-league loss to North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Canon-McMillan drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Big macs travel to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA) to meet the Raiders in a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County test on Friday, October 4. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-4. Seneca Valley lost 32-8 in their recent league test against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA)
