Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL), 41-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Centralia advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Orphans travel to Marion (Marion, IL) to play the Wildcats in a South Seven battle on Friday, October 4. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Marion lost 28-6 in their recent league battle against Cahokia (Cahokia, IL)

The Terriers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Granite City for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Carbondale will play a Warriors team coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
