In their next game, the Tigerhawks face the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) in a 1A District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Colfax-Mingo will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 33-7 league loss to Sigourney-Keota (Sigourney, IA).

The Comets (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets go into the 1A District 6 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont was ripped by Pella Christian (Pella, IA), 57-14, in a league challenge.
