With the defeat, Carroll Academy drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Rebels host Columbus Christian Academy (Steens, MS) to clash with the rams in a MAIS 3A District 1 test on Friday, October 4. The rams come into the test with a record of 2-2. Columbus Christian Academy won 16-12 in their recent non-league test against Kemper Academy (DeKalb, MS)
