The West Monroe Rebels football team (West Monroe, LA), dropped 31-14 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Catholic Bears (Baton Rouge, LA)

With the win, Catholic advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA) to encounter the Patriots in a 5A District 4 bout on Friday, October 11. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

The Rebels now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Scotlandville for a non-league bout on Friday, October 4. West Monroe will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 39-38 non-league loss to St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-4.
