California High School Football - Center trounces Mira Loma

In Friday's league match, the host Center Cougars football squad scored a decisive 44-6 triumph over the Mira Loma Matadors.

The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings come into the Pioneer Valley League match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Oakmont was routed by Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 24-21, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Matadors meet the Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League match, on Thursday, October 3. Mira Loma will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 26-21 league loss to Colfax (Colfax, CA).
