The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Eldorado Firehawks (Las Vegas, NV), witnessed Chaparral's football squad edge Eldorado by a tally of 12-7.

The Cowboys (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Las Vegas, NV). The Vikings enter the 4A Mountain contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Valley was nudged by Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV), 28-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Firehawks battle the Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Mountain contest, on Saturday, October 5. Eldorado will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 13-12 league win over Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV).
