Oklahoma High School Football - Checotah over Locust Grove

September 27, 2024: Checotah, OK 74426

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK) and the visiting Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK), witnessed Checotah's football squad knock off Locust Grove by a tally of 68-42.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Muldrow (Muldrow, OK). The Bulldogs enter the 3A District 3 contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Muldrow gained a win over Eufaula (Eufaula, OK), 42-41, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Eufaula Ironheads (Eufaula, OK) in a 3A District 3 contest, on Friday, October 4. Locust Grove will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Ironheads enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 42-41 league loss to Muldrow (Muldrow, OK).
