The Stratford Spartans walloped the host Cypress Creek Cougars football team by a score of 83-48 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Northbrook Raiders (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Stratford will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 51-0 league loss to Jersey Village (Houston, TX).

The Cougars (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region III District 17 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Cypress Falls bounced Memorial (Houston, TX), 7-0, in a league challenge.
