California High School Football - Whitney nudges Del Oro

September 27, 2024: Rocklin, CA 95765

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) and the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA), witnessed Whitney's football squad edge Del Oro by a tally of 21-20.

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Thunder enter the Sierra Foothill League contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Rocklin got by Jesuit (Carmichael, CA), 52-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Golden Eagles confront the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League contest, on Friday, October 4. Del Oro will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 30-17 league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA).
