The Dighton Hornets (Dighton, KS) football trounced the host Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS), 60-14 in Friday's league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Logan/Palco for a Northwest Kansas (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 4. Dighton will clash with a squad coming off a 20-6 league win over Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS). The record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Wallace County drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Greeley County (Tribune, KS) to clash with the Jackrabbits in a Northwest Kansas (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 4. The Jackrabbits come into the outing with a record of 1-3.
