The Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX) football knocked off the visiting Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX), 44-35 in Friday's league outing.

The Longhorns now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shadow Creek for a 6A Region III District 22 outing on Friday, October 4. Dobie will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 42-21 league win over Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 4-1.
