The Shelby-Rising City Huskies felled the host East Butler Tigers football team by a score of 42-12 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE) in a D1 District 6 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 4. Shelby-Rising City will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Broncos go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 38-0 league win over Heartland (Henderson, NE).

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mead (Mead, NE). The Raiders go into the D1 District 6 (8 Man) challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Mead lost by McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE), 50-30, in a league challenge.
