Texas High School Football - Pflugerville can't hold off Elgin

The Elgin Wildcats got by the visiting Pflugerville Panthers football team by a score of 38-35 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 11 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 64-0 league win over Navarro (Austin, TX).

The Panthers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host McCallum for a 5A-2 Region III District 11 bout on Thursday, October 10. Pflugerville will encounter a Knights team coming off a 39-32 league loss to Bastrop (Bastrop, TX). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
