In their next game, the Jayhawks face the Pleasanton Blu-Jays (Pleasanton, KS) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Friday, October 4. Jayhawk Linn will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Blu-Jays enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 66-8 non-league loss to St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS).

The Red Devils (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast (Cherokee, KS). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Southeast was ripped by Uniontown (Uniontown, KS), 45-24, in a league challenge.
