The Salamanca Warriors walloped the host Fredonia Hillbillies football team by a score of 49-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors play the Silver Creek/Forestville Central Black Knights (Silver Creek, NY) in a Section 6 C - South challenge, on Friday, October 4. Salamanca will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record.

The Hillbillies (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove (Falconer, NY). The Herds go into the Section 6 C - South challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove was ripped by Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton (Mayville, NY), 44-7, in a league challenge.
