Pennsylvania High School Football - Freeport defeats Valley

In Friday's league match, the host Freeport Yellowjackets football squad scored a good 48-20 victory over the Valley Vikings.

The Yellowjackets (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA). The Golden Rams enter the WPIAL AAA Allegheny 7 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Highlands was outscored by Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA), 27-26, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Allegheny 7 match, on Friday, October 4. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Bucs enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 22-14 league win over East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA).
