Virginia High School Football - George C. Marshall trounces McLean

September 27, 2024: Falls Church, VA 22043

In Friday's league match, the host George C. Marshall Statesmen football squad scored a decisive 42-3 triumph over the McLean Highlanders.

The Statesmen (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons come into the District 2 match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Langley routed Lightridge (Aldie, VA), 38-13, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Highlanders confront the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) in a District 2 match, on Thursday, October 10. McLean will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
