Nebraska High School Football - Wakefield overwhelmed by Guardian Angels Central Catholic

The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays walloped the host Wakefield Trojans football team by a score of 54-19 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays face the Pender Pendragons (Pender, NE) in a D1 District 2 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 4. Guardian Angels Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Pendragons enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 60-36 league win over Homer (Homer, NE).

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri County Northeast (Emerson, NE). The Wolfpack enter the D1 District 2 (8 Man) challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Tri County Northeast was ripped by Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE), 36-22, in a league challenge.
