The Hamilton Bulldogs felled the host San Saba Armadillos football team by a score of 40-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 5 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Hamilton will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Bluecats go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 52-6 non-league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, TX).

The Armadillos (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A-1 Region IV District 14 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Johnson City lost by Thrall (Thrall, TX), 62-28, in a non-league challenge.
