In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Ipswich Tigers football squad scored a good 58-32 triumph over the Herreid/Selby Wolverines.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Patriots come into the Lake Region (9 Man) match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Hitchcock-Tulare defeated Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD), 22-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Wolverines meet the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) in a Yellowstone Trail (9 Man) match, on Friday, October 4. Herreid/Selby will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Battlers come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 52-0 league loss to Sully Buttes (Onida, SD).
