Pennsylvania High School Football - Quaker Valley defeated by Hopewell

September 27, 2024: Aliquippa, PA 15001

In Friday's league game, the Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) football team were victorious over the visiting Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA), by a tally of 24-7.

In their next game, the Vikings face the McGuffey Highlanders (Claysville, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Western Hills game, on Friday, October 4. Hopewell will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 0-6 record after their 49-0 league loss to Beaver (Beaver, PA).

The Quakers (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes enter the WPIAL AAA Western Hills game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Avonworth ran past Central Valley (Monaca, PA), 21-14, in a league game.
