The South Central Calhoun Titans edged the visiting IKM/Manning Wolves football team by a score of 16-13 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Titans face the West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. South Central Calhoun will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 48-0 league win over West Fork (Sheffield, IA).
The Wolves (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA). The go into the A District 7 battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center nipped Riverside (Oakland, IA), 50-42, in a league battle.
