Louisiana High School Football - Istrouma prevails Tara

In Friday's league match, the visiting Istrouma Indians football squad scored a good 22-8 triumph over the Tara Trojans.

The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Landry-Walker (New Orleans, LA). The come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Landry-Walker went down by Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA), 42-32, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans meet the McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 match, on Friday, October 4. Tara will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 9-6 league win over Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA).
