In Friday's non-league match, the host Jefferson Davis County Jaguars football squad scored a decisive 56-0 triumph over the Raleigh Lions.
The Jaguars (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Seminary (Seminary, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 6 match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Seminary routed Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS), 35-28, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Lions confront the Pisgah Dragons (Sandhill, MS) in a 2A Region 6 match, on Friday, October 4. Raleigh will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Dragons come into the match with a 5-0 record after their 31-0 non-league win over Richland (Richland, MS).
