In Friday's league match, the host Laconia Sachems football squad scored a good 35-7 triumph over the Kearsarge Cougars.
The Sachems (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Epping/Newmarket (Epping, NH). The Devils come into the Division III match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Epping/Newmarket defeated Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH), 28-6, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Cougars meet the Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) in a Division III match, on Friday, October 4. Kearsarge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Huskies come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 36-0 league win over Sanborn Regional (Kingston, NH).
