With the defeat, Kemper Academy drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Lee Academy (Clarksdale, MS) to clash with the Colts in a MAIS 4A District 1 outing on Friday, October 4. The Colts come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Lee Academy lost 20-7 in their recent non-league outing against North Delta (Batesville, MS)
