In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Sutherlin Bulldogs football squad scored a good 49-35 triumph over the Klamath Union Pelicans.
The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Douglas (Winston, OR). The Trojans come into the 3A Special District 4 match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Douglas defeated Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR), 41-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Pelicans confront the Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) in a 3A Special District 5 match, on Friday, October 4. Klamath Union will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Challengers come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 37-36 non-league loss to Henley (Klamath Falls, OR).
