Wisconsin High School Football - Unity thwarted by Ladysmith

Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Unity Eagles (Balsam Lake, WI), 29-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Ladysmith advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Webster (Webster, WI) to play the Tigers in a Lakeland battle on Friday, October 4. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Webster lost 42-2 in their recent league bout against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI)

The Eagles now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Boyceville for a non-league bout on Friday, October 4. Unity will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-10 league win over Clear Lake (Clear Lake, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-0.
