Georgia High School Football - Ridgeland sneaks past LaFayette

September 27, 2024: LaFayette, GA 30728

The Ridgeland Panthers football squad scored 28 points and limited the host LaFayette Ramblers to 23 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Calhoun for a AAA Region 7 test on Friday, October 4. Ridgeland will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 24-0 league win over Adairsville (Adairsville, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, LaFayette drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to confront the Bruins in a AAA Region 7 match on Friday, October 4. The Bruins come into the match with a record of 5-1. Northwest Whitfield lost 31-21 in their recent league match against Heritage (Ringgold, GA)
