In Friday's non-league match, the host Lamoni Demons football squad scored a decisive 67-22 triumph over the Melcher-Dallas Saints.

The Demons (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks come into the 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Southeast Warren routed Murray (Murray, IA), 58-18, in a league match.
