The Wynot Blue Devils (Wynot, NE) football trounced the visiting Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE), 54-8 in Friday's league outing.

The Blue Devils now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walthill for a D2 District 2 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 4. Wynot will clash with a Blujays squad coming off a 56-22 league loss to Winside (Winside, NE). The Blujays record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Lyons-Decatur Northeast drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Randolph (Randolph, NE) to clash with the Cardinals in a D2 District 2 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 4. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 0-5. Randolph lost 74-38 in their recent league outing against Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE)
