The West Milford Highlanders football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Mahwah Thunderbirds to 13 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland Regional for a Super - Patriot Red test on Saturday, October 5. West Milford will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 29-7 league win over Dover (Dover, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds confront the Dumont Huskies (Dumont, NJ) in a Super - American Red match, on Saturday, October 5. Mahwah will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 53-13 league loss to Westwood (Washington Township, NJ).
