The McComb Panthers edged the visiting Van Buren Black Knights football team by a score of 7-3 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Leipsic Vikings (Leipsic, OH) in a Blanchard Valley challenge, on Friday, October 4. McComb will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 40-10 league win over Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH).
The Black Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Arcadia (Arcadia, OH). The Redskins enter the Blanchard Valley challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Arcadia was edged by Ada (Ada, OH), 36-6, in a league challenge.
