The McDonogh Eagles felled the visiting St. Mary's Saints football team by a score of 28-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A challenge, on Friday, October 4. McDonogh will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Gaels go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 30-6 league loss to Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD).
The Saints (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD). The Cavaliers go into the MIAA A challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Spalding toppled Gilman (Baltimore, MD), 51-0, in a league challenge.
