The Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (Nelsonville, OH) football were winner over the visiting Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 41-14 in Friday's league outing.

The Buckeyes now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wellston for a Tri-Valley - Ohio outing on Friday, October 4. Nelsonville-York will clash with a Golden Rockets squad coming off a 13-0 league win over River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Golden Rockets record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Meigs drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Marauders host Athens (The Plains, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Tri-Valley - Ohio outing on Friday, October 4. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 6-0. Athens won 27-14 in their recent non-league outing against Warren (Vincent, OH)
