Pennsylvania High School Football - Saegertown nudges Mercer

September 27, 2024: Saegertown, PA 16433

In Friday's non-league match, the host Saegertown Panthers football squad scored a close 14-7 triumph over the Mercer Mustangs.

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA). The Tigers come into the District 10 Region 2 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Maplewood was nudged by Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA), 41-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 match, on Friday, October 4. Mercer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 34-15 non-league win over Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA).
